Zuzana Fajmonová's photographic series Pop Art (2022) explores the relationship between consumer culture, Pop Art aesthetics, and the construction of female identity. It originated among mothers on maternity leave, whom the author styled into roles of consumer icons, yet preserved attributes typical for everyday domestic work. The series is a critical reflection on the tension between the ideal of representation, advertising imagery, and the real experience of the female role. The visual form of the series draws inspiration from Pop Art, fashion, and advertising photography. The exhibition is part of the accompanying program for the exhibition Z města ven! and the NASFO 2026 project. It is located on the first floor of Bistro Central, runs until June 30, 2026, and admission is free.
